No matter what your beliefs on religion or politics, the people of Haiti need our prayers. What a devastating thing to happen to God's children. And they are children of God. Please offer prayers and any relief you can for these poorest of poor people. May God bless the children who are left not only homeless but orphans. My heart truly does cry for them.

As usual here, it's another Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of HowSweetTheSound. So go visit the other participants. I went to so many new ones last week I can't name them all.
~*~
Some of the sweet sisters in my eBay group also love the darker colors for their homes as do I. It depends on what it is and where it's to be placed in my home, but I definitely love those colors. I have a plethora of these silk roses left over from some crafts of the past so I thought I'd come up with another tree topper wreath. But this one is for you, chicks. Yesssss, it's another giveaway for this silver and garnet colored roses wreath. You can use it on your tree next year or simply decorate something in your home with it. It is the same size as the one I have on my white, pink and roses Christmas tree. Rules are the same as posted here.
OOoooooh, and winner will be drawn monday night, Jan. 18th at 6 pm mountain time.

Hi Connie,
ReplyDeleteI know, Haiti is in such crisis. I was watching Anderson Cooper last night and I thought he was going to cry. For some reason they made all the doctors and nurses leave because of security reasons. They showed the little orphans, it made me cry.
I love your beautiful wreath, your creations are always lovely. Happy Pink Saturday and let's keep Haiti in our prayers.
Karen
Hello my sweet friend, that is a pretty roses wreath.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!!!
Hugs
Charo

Love the wreath Connie! Yes, so sad for the people over there. Have a lovely Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteBack Porch Blessings,

Ooooh, count me in!
ReplyDeleteYes I know about Haiti,
ReplyDeleteThere are several Florida girls working there. They can not be found. I would hate to have a child missing. I feel for all
those families. I donated to the Red cross but they are like Molasses in January. I have become so disgusted with so many people and some organizations. They aren't what they used to be.
I have been in Haiti years ago it is a sad country. With a crazy past.
Yvonne
Beautiful wreath especially for this time of year. And yes we are praying and donating to Haiti...so glad to see it on so many blogs!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debbie
Lovely arrangement, I like how they are frosted! Perfect for Valentines day
ReplyDeleteComing by to wish you a Happy Pink Saturday Connie.
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is very very pretty, but I will let another lovely lady win it.
Thanks for being so kind.
Love Claudie

Hey Girl!
ReplyDeleteIt is very sad about Haiti. It's sad that the supplies are there but they can't distribute them. It's sad that the people think the rest of the world has forgotten about them when they are really first and foremost on everyone's minds.
Well . . . I want to join in but am TOTALLY stumped when it comes to the secret. I'll keep looking and see what I can find. Hmmmmmm . . .
Hugs! Karen
ps - how are you allowed this font? Do you post through Blogger or something else? I want a pretty font!! :)
Hi, Connie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty wreath! Love the roses mixed in with the silver! Thank you for having such a generous giveaway and please count me in! I, too, am praying for our brothers and sisters in Haiti! I have donated through the Red Cross and hope that this may help in some small way. Vicki
Count me in Connie for that wreath. I am loving pink, but have not got enough things together yet to make a show. I am starting to gather things. This would be great to have. I have many connections in Haiti through the Sister of Charity and Catholic Charities. All are accounted for but their office and homes are destroyed. Great post.
ReplyDeleteBlessings

oh good grief woman, If I had this beauty I'd wear it right up on top of my silly head and be so charmed with myself!
ReplyDeleteHello Sweetums! Ohhhh, you KNOW that I adore this wreath! And you KNOW that it would go perfect with my colors in the family room!I'm so glad you finally kept one for yourself, too.
ReplyDeleteThe destruction in Haiti is unbelievable. Many prayers for all.
Happy PS!

MY HEART BREAKS FOR THE PEOPLE IN HAITI. I HOPE EVERYONE REMEMBERS THEM IN A PRAYER. THE WREATH IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL. IT IS A WORK OF ART. BLESSINGS, LINDA
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday! My thoughts and prayers are extended to the folks in Haiti.

Hi Connie
ReplyDeleteYes lots of prayers needed for those poor people, they're certainly being sent from me over here
Love your wreath - clever you!
Thanks for the browser tip, yes you're right, I have two going, tried my other one and here I am!
xo
lovely...
ReplyDeleteI've tried not to think about those people buried alive beneath all those fallen buildings. Especially the little ones. Cries to Heaven for those little ones.
Nature is a vicious force. But, corruption can be blamed for the shoddy buildings and lack of infrastructure -- and for a government that has created a sad place for people for many years.
We can also pray that this will bring change to the survivors world.
How tragic and sad for those people, it is so hard to hear of all the tragedies. I am glad that so many people have reached out to help.
ReplyDeleteSo many children, that's the saddest thing for me to see......
Your giveaway will cheer someone up, how lovely!
Hugs,
Margaret B
I love the wreath, Connie, I would love to have it! My thoughts and prayers are with the poor people of Haiti. Our church will be collecting for them tomorrow. They will need so much help!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit, Connie. Oh my, what a gorgeous wreath!...Christine
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaways!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pink post.
Happy weekend.
Aawww you made this wreath? I don't think anyone can say no to a rose at all! :-) It's pretty and I think it should be displayed all year round too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Mizpah,
Li
I love wreaths - and I'd have this as a candle centrepiece with a great big church candle in the middle, right on the dining table. You've done a great job as always!
ReplyDeleteI am very saddened that I've had to put word verification back on due to my email address being hijacked on Friday, so I spent most of yesterday doing damage limitation. So I'm now moderating AND have word verification (which I will take off again in a week or so, once the hackers get the message). So I apologise for that.
Hence, an apologetic and belated Happy Pink Saturday on Sunday!
The wreath is just lovely - I'd hang it on the wall in 'my room'.
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine the desperation the people in Haiti are enduring. They need all our prayers and financial help.
The clothespins are adorable - perfect for Valentine's day.
Hi Pumpkin,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your birthday wishes. Tonight is the 17th, not tomorrow. You might want to fix your "Give-Away" date. Yikes....
xo Cath
Connie, pick me, me, me. I love it and have the perfect place for it when my bedroom is finished.
ReplyDeleteOh I cried also, especially when that man was told his daughter was alive, then got a letter of apology saying they have not found her. All those little crying babies and they found another yesterday that spent 3 1/2 days in the rubble and is alive. Praise Jesus. One of our Catholic Hospitals is collecting and giving 100% to Haiti, so that's where we are sending our donation. Love and Hugs, Pat
What a beautiful wreath you made - love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI was in Haiti in high school many years ago and can't imagine the devastation those people are facing.
My friend has two children she adopted in Haiti. She hasn't been able to get them home because of visa issues. And now their orphanage crumbled, they have no water and they're being looted. :(
ReplyDeletewow that is beautiful, would fit right in my victorian home.
