Went Shopping and Pink Saturday 8/15/09

I went shopping several days ago and found these gorgeous pink froufrou feather/down pillows that go perfectly with my walls, living room sofa and curtains. Squeeeeeeeal. I cannot believe that I first thought I could live without them. I must have had a lapse of memory or something, chicks!

And how about this darling little plate?!! It says: "I never met an indulgence I didn't like." My motto..........okay, ONE of my mottos! I have many, ya know.
~*~

Dinner at a restaurant the other night resulted in a discussion with the waiter about flying and I said I didn't fly anymore and he said he hated it also. He said with all the plane crashes he just didn't like to fly and then asked me why I hated flying now. I simply told him I've never fallen 50,000 ft. out of a Toyota Camry. He understood that perfectly.

  14. Cute pinks! I love your outlook on flying. I don't mind flying - you get there quickly (after all the junk you have to jump through at the airport). I figure if it is my time to go - it's time!

  17. GM, Connie girl I love that pillow it so reminds me of my bedspread from the 40 I got...Now about the flying thing...I hate to fly also anymore...I feel like a strip teaser taking off half my clothes and not getting paid for it and each airport is so differ with there rules...girl I just did that Texas trip and hope I don't have to do another one for awhile...I had one idiot and I use that term loosely tell me to put my shoes on the rack after I had them in the bucket and told them to look at the pictures where it shown to put them in the bucket...not on the rack..He yelled at me about this...so I got my camera out and took a picture of the picture shwoning to put them in the bucket and told him to sue me ha ha!! there were 10 of them at Dallas airpost only one working and I am thinking so this is where my tax payers money is going for 1 iddiot to scream at old ladies and 9 to stand around and watch...I paid $15.00 to check in my bag...Now I had a full can of hair spray inside a vacumme sealed bag...and went I came home I had a notice inside my suitcase telling me they broke my lock...too bad for me!! left the can on top of my clothes and it explosied all over my stuff and ruined it all...every picture I brought back of my Great grand kids ruined and they tell me "too Bad" and for this I paid good money for...and they tell me "Its sucks to be me" Oh well time to get off my old soap box now and go home ha ha!!! May you have a great weekend my Dear friend...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

  38. I like the plate too - oh and the message LOL If ever I have one indulgence, I don't think I would like it too LOL

Oh yeah, I think I'd prefer falling (if ever) a few inches than 50,000 ft! Yikes! Cause then i'll never be able to tell the story LOL
