Peeling Idaho Potatoes

Let me assure you right here and now that the very best potatoes in the world come from the southeastern part of Idaho. I've eaten them! They are so sweet you'll eat more of them so be very careful when you get to taste them. But how to peel a potato the easy way? Well, I'm gonna tell ya, chicks. Watch Dawn Wells, an Idaho girl, peel potatoes. Fascinating!

  1. Wow, that IS fascinating! And so easy! I love this.

  2. I just saw that the other day on TV....amazing! I have not tried it yet though. Hope you are doing well....come visit. :)

  3. Oh, Connie, what a great tip! I love potatoes, especially Idaho potatoes. I will definitely do this!

  4. Oh Connie I have not been able to peel potatoes for about 2 years, arthritis in right hand, HH has to do them. Now I can do them. This is great. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Thanks Chick...I loved this Awesome girl and Maryann makes it so easy looking...I will try this one for sure...Hope you have a GREAT Day my friend...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

  7. That was MaryAnn!!?? How fabulous. Do you know I never use a potato peeler. My d-i-l is just amazed at that. I learned to use a paring knife early on to peel veggies. But I will have to try the boiling water method. (And tonite I will be watching all three shows. I am going to do what I hate that Bobby G. does and that's constantly flipping channels. :)

  8. Ok that was too cool. I hate peeling! Thanks for stopping by so i could come over and find you!

  9. That is crazy!! I'm gonna have to try that!! And tell all the chat group to slow down ~ I've been getting so many email messages ~ ya'll are yakking so much I'll NEVER get caught up!!LOL
