"Romantic Up" the Toilets for Pink Saturday 10/10/09

Since some of you might have missed this post I'm going to add it a few times to the beginning of some of my posts so I can get the word out. If any of you want to publicize this fact then be my guest in using these instructions or sending bloggers here to learn how to do this. I would love to be able to answer questions bloggers ask me by just clicking on their emails and returning it.

Welcome to Pink Saturday. To view all the participants, go visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound and surf around. I promise you'll see lots of pink!

A few weeks ago I was decaling some things around my house and had these extra big ones and wondered what to do with them. I've always considered toilets to be the least glamorous thing in a house so I decided to jazz them up a bit with the decals and new seat covers. If you know me, you know I "romantic up" every single thing I can! I have to tell you though that I couldn't find a decent pink cover. I finally settled for this inexpensive one from WM but the white one on the guest bath toilet is luxurious and thick and beautifully white. I think I got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond. What a difference in the two.

It even photographed better! Too white for the photo with the flash so close though. And NO, the toilets are not pink but white. I think the flash and ambient lighting cast them in pink but I can't move the toilets, chicks!

Just a shot of our bedroom at night. Chicks, you have got to "romantic up" your bedroom. Your man will love it.

And this little personal embroidery came from my sweet friend in my ebay group, Stephanie! It is going in a place where I'll see it every single day. She and I share a mum, who is a true Southern Belle, and one of the best moms a gal can have—even if she didn't actually give birth to me. I'm pretty sure she likes me! Steph, give her smooches for me if she doesn't read this.

And can you believe this? Pink WOOL socks for winter! They were a bit pricey at $6.97 for one pair but I wanted them and Love Bunny said I'll wear them out since I go barefoot (meaning no shoes but usually socks). But they'll keep my tootsies warm in the winter. Squeeeeeeal...... I bought them at WM.
