Images From My Favorite Artist

A friend recently sent me a book that came as a huge surprise to me. This is one of her paintings below. I absolutely adore just about anything this woman paints.

In her book she has lots of images to share for scrapbooking and gives permission to be copied for our own projects so here are a few of her things to use for scrapbooking or to just sit and look at actually.

These little images could be cut out in the middle to put a favorite photo of a loved one inside.

This was the paper it came wrapped in. I squeeeeeeeealed when I saw it and knew I couldn't throw it away. Not sure what I'll do with it yet, but I'll find something to do with it. Maybe just frame it and put it on the wall. It isn't as though I didn't have a plethora of frames in which to mount it. :-)

Her roses look so simple to paint and they're beautiful. I may try painting like this one and see what I can turn out.

  1. They are so lovely, Connie. You couldnt throw away such pretty paper, could you?!

  2. Wow! She is really good! These are so pretty, what great talent! Cindy

  3. G'morn, Connie ~ WOW! Your friend is an exquisite artist. I love how detailed she is in the tea room setting ... awesome art!

    Happy Valentine's
    Have a beautiful week.
    Hugs, Marydon

  4. Oh Connie sweetie...
You are so lucky. What a wonderful gift of love you received. Aren't friends just the best? They seem to know when to pick us up, and make us feel all whole again.

These paintings are just exquisite and yes I to believe that you could cut those centers out and make something beautiful. I love the table set for tea. How detailed she is. So absolutely devine.

Thank you for sharing sweetie. I so love it when you do. I too, love that paper your book was wrapped in, can't wait to see how you recycle it. It will be great whatever you do.

Have a beautiful day sweetie. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

  5. Hi Connie,

Your friend is quite the artist. Amazing work. Praying that your physical therapy goes well and that your little Angel is there with you.

    big hugs,

  6. Connie, I can't believe I have missed the previous posts. I have my cousin Bob who is still here and entertaining him is very time consuming. He loves to play cards. So do I, but we are at a marathon proportion. HA! He goes home next Monday.

I really love the beautiful cards and vintage flowers you have shared with us. The lavender flowers must be the color of your daughter's room. A lovely color. The book with those beautiful flowers your friend sent you. Two word stand out in my mind. Frame them! My sister paints roses and she says they are easy to paint. NOT for me!

    Have a wonderful day.
    Hugs xoxo, Jeanne

  7. Wow, what beautiful pieces! She is so talented! Thanks for sharing! Dee Dee

  8. Beautiful, beautiful art! Thanks for sharing it with us Connie. I am so behind on my blog reading it's pathetic and I have so enjoyed seeing all of the fabulous images you're sharing and catching up. And what's this about a great granddaughter. I'm quite sure you're not old enough for such things, cuz great grannies are old and wrinkly and creak when they walk. LOL!

    Cathy ♥

  9. Oh my gosh! These are wonderful! Thank her for me and I'm taking advantage of it and downloading them right now. YAY!
    Hugs! Karen

    Look forward to each one.
    Thanks for everything.

  14. Gorgeous! That paper is so pretty and cottagey-I'd have to cover something with it so I could see it all the time!

  15. Coming by to say "HI"! Haven't been on the puter much but was missing your cute picture of you in those glasses!
