Pink Saturday 5/15/2010

We were out of town this past week, and I didn't have the time or opportunity to visit any blogs, and I do apologize. Spending time with my family was more important though. But it is Pink Saturday and I want to again thank Beverly of How Sweet The Sound for hosting this. She's a real doll for doing this because it can't be easy to do it time after time. Thank you, Beverly, and I'll be better this week, I promise.

I won this recently and it arrived in the mail on thursday last. Isn't it adorable? I don't know where this woman found such a darling tool set but it really is just right for women. I absolutely have my very own tool set because Love Bunny gets grease all over his and that ain't happenin' to this chick. :-) I'm neat and clean when using my tools. It included a hammer, pliers, screwdriver and mat knife. The little wooden tray was also in with the tools. What a prize, I tell ya!! Woohoo. Love it.

Just a pretty pink paper rose for you. I'll be telling all about my trip to California on monday and I think you'll get a kick out of it.

  8. OOOH Connie! Those tools make me want to fix something! Do you think that it is an evil male plot to get us to do all their "Honey Do's"?! First they get us working, now this!! LOL what will it be next- mowing the lawn?? Yep, I think so. Guess what the hubs got me last Mother's day? No, I am not kidding!
That's ok, I love mowing the lawn, and yesterday I put together his new gym. I guess I am a husband and a wife all rolled into one. Creepy!

  10. I bought my daughter a sweet little tool set like that the first year she was married. I think it still sits in its package. If I catch it on a yard sale, I am going to spank her. :o) I have my own tools, but they are not nearly that pretty. Plain, but clean. :o)

  13. Connie, love the tools. I guess I am stuck on pink also because one of my friends showed me her cute little stubby pink hammer and it is adorable. I told her if she keeps it laying around alone too long, I might have to "borrow" it. As usual, your paper flowers are beautiful. Wish I had that talent and creativity that you have with everything you make or do. Chickie hugs and love, Pat

  30. Oh, that's a very cute tool set! Congrats on your win, chickadee! Very, very cute!

I have some pink tools I found a while back, but I think yours are cuter, Connie, and they are all coordinated. Mine are different patterns. As I saw them, I picked them up. Wish I had waited for a cute matched set like yours.

Glad to hear you had fun on your trip.

    XO,
