Little Decorated Perfume Bottles for Pink Saturday

Beverly of HowSweetTheSound is hosting another Pink Saturday. Please visit with her to see all the "pinkness" you've ever seen in one place.
~*~

These little bottles were emptied long ago of their fragrant perfumes that I've loved. One was Michael Kors and one was a name I've forgotten it's been so long. Throwing them away wasn't an option because I knew I could do something beautiful with them. So recently during a long winter night I set about froufrou-ing them up after painting one top pink of course. Little snippets of left over lace too small to do anything with but something like this went on them. Buttons, ribbon, paper roses, pearls and flowers I printed off some images I've had for years are attached also. They will go somewhere in this house; I just can't say where at the moment.

  25. So pretty! A great idea for keeping those lovely bottles (I've been putting mine in niches in altered books, but much prefer your idea so they stay on the dressing table).

  30. Hi Connie, Your so sweet and your my favorite creative blogger.....I will always cherish that red apron I bought from you...I still get compliments on it too. I'm not leaving just because of those certain things, I have alot on my plate right now and sometimes the blogs can be a bit depressing not to mention time consuming.....It just seemed lately if you weren't having a giveaway or you didn't leave comments on all the blogs then people just kind of forgot about you..I'm not saying everyone but the ones that stay away seem to come back when your giving stuff away.....It would be nice to get a comment from someone even if you don't leave them one..I spent alot of time leaving comments and I don't even get half as many back ever....anyway when blogging becomes a chore, it's time to stop. If you would like to stay in contact, you can go to my profile and get my email, i'd like to hear from you again...your one of my fav's Hugs and Love, Jennifer

  32. Connie I do adore these bottles. They turnes out so lovely. What pretty shapes they are too. I'm going to have to start paying more attention to the shape of the bottle and less to the scent.
I hope you and Love Bunny have a great day tomorrow.

  33. Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
Happy Valentine's Day too. I hope you and Hunny Bunny have something special planned for the day. It is always fun even if it is just watching a movie at home together.

We will have the kids here and maybe do a little BBQ.

I love these little bottles, and I have so many myself that I loved and just didn't want to throw the bottle away, so maybe I will try something like this with mine. I love this idea.

Thank you so much for sharing with me. I love it when you do. You are just the BEST. I just hope that you know how much this old country gal loves you. Many Hugs and Kisses for this Valentine Day.
Country hugs and so much love, Sherry
