I love soft places. Oh, I don't mean just soft surroundings—fabrics, beds, chairs, soft things, etc. I mean photos, a word, a memory or just something that touchs that soft place in my heart that we keep hidden from most people. I've always had a soft heart. By that I mean I am easily reduced to tears thinking about a memory that touches me deeply.
I love bright colors also. Oh, I love the soft pinks but I am truly drawn to bold bright colors.

I am drawn to laundry flapping in the breeze.
I am drawn to any kind of lotions that smell good and cream my hands softly. By the way, this is what I did to Miss Caroline when we were there recently. She loved to have me put sweet smelling shea butter on her tiny little hands.
I am drawn to feminine attire.
I am drawn to cozy bedrooms.
I am drawn to roses and flowers that smell good.
I am especially drawn to fabrics that are pink, have roses on them or just touch my fancy.
What are you drawn to? :-)
I have everything I need. That's the definition of affluence.

Enjoyed your post so much today!!
ReplyDelete(I always do!) The chair with the WOW! colors is wonderful..I like bright colors too! I liked ALL of the pictures you showed us, and the objects they are.
I am particularly drawn to soft pinks; delicate linens; pillows;
nice floral smelling lotions and pretty soaps; charming stationary (yes, I still write letters and notes!); pretty china and crystal;
and beautiful frames to hold those
precious photos of my family. I also collect Art Nouveau cups and saucers.....I guess you could call me a "girly-girl"!!! LOL
Thanks for sharing the pretty objects with us today!!
Have a fun Friday!!
Hugs, Francy (Yasmin)

ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Connie Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a gorgeous post today. I love this chair. I could curl up here with a good book and read the afternoon away.
I love seeing the laundry flapping in the breeze. Such wonderful memories of Momma hanging out the laundry during the Spring and Summer. Everything always smelled so great didn't it? That pink refrigerator in that kitchen photo is TDF. Loved it.
I am drawn to anything with cherries on it. (you love roses) and I adore cherries. Thank you for asking sweet friend.
Hope you have a gorgeous weekend. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry
That chair is like a throne for a Blogging Queen! Would love to have a white blouse like that too only after a few minutes mine would have a spaghetti stain on it. Even if I wasn't eating spaghetti. Happy Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pink post for this week!
