Rhondi's Pillow Party and Mosaic Monday

Come and join us for 2 occasions today: Rhondi's Pillow Party and Mary's Mosaic Monday. These are all pillows I've made and sold, given away or still have around my home. I just don't have the time to sell anymore and didn't have a whole lot of buyers. One of my pillows was featured in a home in Romantic Country magazine. I was stunned when I saw it but it's in a beautiful home and well loved, I'm sure.

Random Thoughts:

On a recent sunday I told Love Bunny:

She: Your turn to make the bed.

He: I have a talk to prepare for church; I don't have time.

She: Forget it; you're not getting out of making the bed.

He made the bed.

Someone recently asked me about my children and the conversation somehow got around to how we named them: Nancy and Keith. I told them that our daughter was named after his old girlfriend and his pet cow. They didn't believe me. It's true! I have no problem if Nancy is one of his favorite names. Hey, I got the man; she didn't. I named our daughter Nancy. ;-)

As I've said before I love reading and spy, mystery, espionage novels are my favorite things to read. I can now kill ya 50 different ways without leaving a trace or being detected. ;-)

I'll bet you didn't know squalene is a substance found in only 2 places on this earth: shark's liver and the side of your nose. It's a lubricant watch makers use. How on earth do I come up with these tidbits for ya, chicks?! *Smiling*

  26. Though we did not know the official name
"squalene is a substance found in only 2 places on this earth: shark's liver and the side of your nose"
we did learn in our Photography Class to use it on our negatives before making the print to eliminate surface scratches on the negatives.
Hmmm, how did this come into the conversation?

  28. We share a love of reading mysteries and thrillers. My dh and I read mystery series in order, and like C.J. Box, Ian Rankin, Robert Crais, Peter Robinson, and Martha Grimes, among other favorites.
Which authors do you enjoy most?
On my blog today I asked "who is your favorite character from a novel?"
