There are times when I don't have a lot to say. Marvelous, isn't it?! Anyway, today I thought I'd just share a thing or two and get back to the house work and garden and let you enjoy NOT listening to me so much!
Looking through some clothing catalogs recently I realized the T-shirt is now becoming somewhat dressed and jazzed up a bit. So I took this plain black one and added some black with roses fabric I ruffled and sewed it on. Has anyone else noticed the T's are not so drab and plain anymore? Some have lace and are pleated in front. Just a whole different look. So for me instead of buying a lot of new ones I'm just froufrou-ing up the old ones.

Aren't these decals lovely? I saw them and couldn't resist but now I'm deciding where to put them. They are 7 1/4" x 4 1/2". So where could they go nicely? Any suggestions?
I love the t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie,
ReplyDeleteThe black top came out so lovely. What a great idea. (One more fabulous idead to add to my to-do list)!
The decals are really pretty! There are so many different ways to use them. Wish I had a good suggestion. Just wait a bit and the perfect spot will reveal itself to you.

Hi Connieness! Oh, you're just the smartest one! I like that little detail of the pretty print all frilly and ruffly on your t-shirt! I've needed to go shop for some summer clothes and am just not liking the styles out there! The clothes remind me of what I wore in the 1970s! They say styles seem to turn around and come back! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Since t-shirts are pretty much my "mom" uniform, I'm glad to see that they're getting a little more spiffy. That way I don't have to feel so much like a slob all the time! lol

You are right they are getting spiffied up. Of course yours must have pink roses. That's a neat idea. I think the decals look better on the back. No ups and downs back there and they show better.

Great t-shirt re-do! Have you tried beading any yet? It seems the beading is quite popular.
ReplyDeleteI need to re-invent some of mine... great idea! ☺ Diane
Cute t-shirt! I love anything black, and with roses to boot!
