I was in a bookstore the other day and found this delightful book called Artful Blogging and bought it. What a delight for the senses it was, especially the eye candy in there. I must say I was impressed that others love blogging as much as I do. Mine isn't especially "artful" blogging but it's "art" of another sort I believe. I think their photography skills are much better than mine, but I'm learning, chicks; I'm learning!! I think I'll get more of this publisher's books.
Oh, Can I check that out at the Living Beautifully library? I'll get a card and everything! lol At this point, for me at least, anything remotely helpful would do wonders!
Went to THE fabric store today and didn't find anything inspiring... except for some gathered goldish pink taffeta for Miss Is' room!
Thanks for the heads up on the blogging book. Things I love: books, art, and blogging. Looks like this book is going to be right up my alley. I am new to the blogging world, so I need all the help I can get. I am definitely hooked and love finding great blogs like yours. Thanks!
Hi Connie! I would love to look at that book! I know some blogs pictures are just so pretty! Thanks for coming to see me today! Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)
Ok Connie my Sweet first up I just have to say I love your new hair style, way to go girl. The book sounds very interesting, will have to keep an eye out for it over here. Oh & your bird house is gorgeous think Deb would be mad not to want it.
Happy New Year to you my gorgeous Lady with the sexy new hair do!!!
I'm so pleased to hear you liked it Connie. I just recently ordered it from the US and although my parcel still hasn't arrived the VISA bill has and lets just say, the shock has nearly killed me. Our dollar is so low that buying anything from the US is out of the question for awhile. Hugs, Kerryanne
I saw Artful Blogging at Barnes and Noble. The publisher, Somerset Studio's, has unbelievable publications. I would like every one of them, but at $15 a pop, can't do it. I buy my favorites and sit at B&N and gently read the others. I keep my notepad handy so I can jot down all the things I want to check out, blogs to visit, etc. It's wonderful!!
I didn't leave a comment yesterday because I wanted to come back and write down the name of the book and then our power went out...yikes! No computer. But thanks for the book recommendation. Roberta Anne
I really wanted to be beautiful and sexy but got stuck with being humorous and shapely instead. My dream job is Tech Writer. Yes, I said Tech Writer. I am a techie! Such is life. But I am truly a blessed chick. I left the corporate world of California in 1991 to live a more serene lifestyle and haven't regretted it for one moment. I have been married to the same man since 1961. We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-granddaughters. I live my life in exclamation points!
I love blogging and sharing thoughts on life, my life, ramblings and gorgeous photos. There are no politics on this blog. I speak of my religion sometimes but that's it for religion, and there will never be ads on here. I want this blog to be a serene and celestial place for you, my readers, to enjoy and rest from the frantic pace of the world. I hope you do so with all my heart. I also have a huge amount of eye candy on here. I'm rarely boring.
