End of Camping Trip

So we bid adieu to the first camping trip with Love Bunny's new toy - camper. It wasn't so bad because I love the man, but I sure hope he gives it up after the next couple of years! I can't take the stress much more. But I do want to frou frou it up for next year and see if that makes it a bit more pleasant.

This is looking at where we slept this year. I'll post the difference in a few months. It'll take that long to get the fabric, redo all the cushions and get the courage to go in it again after the past few day's experiences. LOL

The opposite end where we will put all the storage items. And yes, that's the little portable toilet on the floor.

I've already put the plumeria scented sachet in it. I may switch to rose scent oil though. The plumeria was too fragrant to smell all the time because I really doused that thing with oil!

These are socks I wore for one day only! They were filthy. Hubs washed my feet for me each night before I got into the sleeping bag. He's such a humble and sweet man. My shoes have since been scrubbed clean with a stiff brush. Man, they were filthy also!!! Whewwwwww........

Heading home through north of Boise. Yeeeeeeaaaahhhhh, yipppeeee and yahoooooo!! I sleep in my bed tonight!

  1. You're braver than me...I could NEVER have gone camping! Tried it ONCE, many years ago...and never again!!!

Thank goodness Tom's not into camping! LOL!!

  2. My favorite place to camp is in a hotel.

    God bless you.

  3. Hi Connie, your camping posts are all beautiful! The view of the mountains are gorgeous. I noticed all the pink you managed to put in! I loved all the roses you painted and the cupcakes, I was going to try a paint some of them. Your mantel looks beautiful!
Were still in the Outer Banks and braving Hannah.
    Love You, SHirl
    SHirls Rose Cottage.

  4. Hi Connie, your camping trip is over for now, but I can tell you enjoyed it some, didn't you? The camper is really nice inside and plenty of room for two. I'll be waiting to see how you change the decor. Do fru fru it up to much, what if your husband wants to go camping with male friends. He'll have some explaining to do. LOL!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for your kind words about my new grandson Alex, I just couldn't wait to post his pictures. Deb

  5. Hello Ms. Connieness of Camping! You're a very brave woman and a very good wife. In my olden years ~ I enjoy my comfort! But I do spy little Pink crocs!!
Oh, Chloe appreciates you noticing her. I saw that speech too and loved the joke.

    Be a Pink sweet one,
    Shelia ;)

  6. I love all the touches of PINK that are there, you should have moved those crocs though, Jack would have tripped on them because Men Don't See Pink! Hee Hee

  7. Oh, I LOVE camping and so sad that I didn't get to go this year. I bet you will have that tent trailer looking adorable in no time! Love the pink crocs!

    Hugs, Sharon

  8. So glad you are back & still in one piece!!

My duh moment for the day....I thought "that" was a hassock/ottoman!! Tee Hee!

    Love you,
    Angelic Accents

  9. Well it is still better than sleeping on the ground

  10. When we were growing up we camped every summer, if we were not going back to our Grandparents. Those days are not lost. I have my memories.

And for some reason thought those that had campers like yours were having more fun, but I know they were not.

We had our trailer and we had a blast.

I haven't camped in years, but would love to do it again sometime. I do not mind getting dirty.

  11. Oh I see a girly camper coming! You will have fun decorating it.

  12. AWWWW Poor Connie, you are a brave woman... But I must say that I do love to camp, but I can relate to how you feel. And I have not doubt that you will froo froo it up alot. ha ha
And as for the question you asked I use PrintMaster Gold 18 I bought it at Best Buy. I just love all the graphics it has a lot of them. You can do card scrap book and lots of things. Just love it and it is easy to use.

    have a great weekend.

  13. Looks like a fun trip to take occassionally, like every 3 years, just kidding!! It is fun and I'll be doing the very same thing in 2 weeks!!

  14. I loved the pics of boise! I sure like it over there!!!! We haven't camped in years! Look for the paper lanterns at party stores!

  15. Hey I have those pink crocs. And my son has those socks. Hehehe! What a great wife you are, a real trooper. Have a good night sleep tonight. Wendy.

  16. Ohhh Connie...

You are far braver than I to go camping....The only place I have ever even tried to camp is the backyard..and I ended up back in the house after finding not 1 but 2! ginormous bugs in my sleeping bag!

Comments are so nice and I thank all of you that leave one for me.
