Redecorating is Tiring!!

To those of you who have sent me emails asking me how I go like the energizer bunny - I don't, sweet chicks! I'm losing steam rapidly. I have been getting up around 4:30 or 5 am every day for weeks just because I can't sleep knowing what I want/need to do. But my "mental energy" is abounding and astounding! Today's post will be short - got lots to do. Now, what I'd like is some suggestions. I'm putting my 3 Susan Rios prints on this wall - the partly new wall. I think the 2 french wire baskets are too big for this and the 3 tiered white plate stand I want to showcase some faux pastries on is too big for any plates I have. Sooooooo, my little bunnies, what do I put on a 13 1/3" round plate holder - 3 tiers so I'll have to do "3" of whatever? I don't think I've seen 13" plates anywhere. Then what do you think of the little chair with books and that victorian house with foliage and roses in it on top of that?? By george, I think I've got a vignette just in that quick photo below!!! Hah.... And I can assure you the rest of the house is suffering......but NOT for long. I'm on a roll today!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Hi Connie, Just stopping by to say hello to a crazy adorable Chick. I should be in the dining room with a paint brush in my hand right now but I just can't get my mo jo going today. It's raining and that to me says play on the lap top or read until it's time to go to lunch with some of my friends and then of to our knitting group. But now that I read your post and your all fired up to work maybe I will go dust a table or something so I will feel like I accomplished something today. Happy Cleaning You Crackerjack!!

  5. Hi sweet Connie!

Oh boy, I sure can relate to your mind whirling about and thinking, thinking, thinking.... I have a hard time shutting down my brain sometimes.

You have some lovely pieces to work with! Ever thought of putting your little chair up on the table? That is, if it fits. You could add height and make a little vignette around it. When hanging pictures, I like using odd numbers and make them non-symetrical in a grouping. Oh hold on, I think I hear you hammering something!

    Have fun!!

  11. Hi Connie, I think what you've got going looks great, I'm still trying to get over how short of a time it took with the remodeling. I love the things you've chosen for the chair, the chair is adorable. Deb

  12. Well Connie dearest!!!! You really have been a busy gal. You know from my redo..how I understand what you are going through...just wait when its all over...you'll be veggin for a few days...trust me on that!

On your chair...could you possibly hang it on the wall? I have seen that done and love the look..you might put another larger chair by it and make it act as a side table..or just another way to display your other goodies around it. Why is it I have so many good ideas for others..but not for me..Hmmmmm lol

    Stay sane and cute chicky!
    Love ya...Lorena
