This is one of the clothespin bags I've used in my laundry. See, laundry rooms don't have to be dull or boring! Mine certainly isn't. I make them out of roses and lace and pretty fabrics to go with my home.
In the laundry room I put up a border and message board and little cute boards with pegs on them. I've posted one little picture below. My broom, feather dusters, dust pan and various thing I hang are on ribbon hangers.
If you want to see it in its entirety click on the little picture to the right here and take a peek. It's hard to get good pix in there because we had a solar tube installed and there is so much light it's almost impossible to photograph properly.
Bye the way, I've created a new blog to post items for sale. I don't want to do it on here so you might like looking at it from time to time. I've still not had a lot of time to put items on but if you are interested you can take a look at this little bag on there for sale now. I plan on making more of them. I also plan on selling a LOT of decorating books on there in the near future. I doubt you'll be disappointed! But this blog is just for "blogging." The other one is to sell and you can to view it by clicking on La Maison Rose.

Hi ~ I found you on A Cottage in the Making. LOVE your blog! I too wanted to comment about being a SAHM... I loved it and I'm so glad I was able to stay at home and raise my children. Now I work and I wish I didn't sometimes because I want to go visit my new grandbaby more often... but that's another story. Your picture of yourself is so cute! Would you mind if I added a link to your blog from my blog?

I've been collecting clothespin bags made out of old feedsacks for years. My grandmother had one (I still have it and it's one of my favorite possessions) and it inspired me. They're harder to find. Love your rendition.
ReplyDeleteConnie, that is precious. I am going to visit your other place.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me to spruce up my laundry room. Now if the only made a purty bag to hold stinky boy stuff.
Very very lovely Connie! What a pretty way to do the washing!!!
