First Friday 11/7/08
I can't wait, I can't wait!!!! I've got to show you how the walls look and the roses on the ceiling. Squeeeeeeeeeeal!!!!!! That's just the beginning of the roses for the ceiling. Three different ones will be up there by tomorrow night. It's so pretty, gals..... *Sigh*........
I made this quilted purse for carrying my camera and other items when traveling. I made 2 since the first one turned out so well and I'm selling one. Inside is a pocket for a pen, a pocket for lipstick and camera if you'd like (velcro closure) and a pocket for cell phone. The quilted roses fabric is different on each side so on the front flap is the reverse of the bottom of front - a beautiful contrast from the tiny and larger roses. The pockets for pen and cell phone are a white quilted roses fabric to differentiate from the camera/lipstick pocket, but still a beautiful fabric also. I've tried my cell phone and camera and they both fit in the pockets. A pink ribbon rose is on the front. This is 100% cotton. Measurements are approximately 11 1/2" x 14" and strap is 60" (that's a 30" drop) so easily goes over head and shoulder for secure hands-free shopping. The closure is velcro. Price is $35.00 plus shipping. This is truly a one-of-a-kind bag (well, except for the one for myself but I doubt we'll be in the same town) and beautiful for the lover of shabby chic romantic items.

Greenhurst Nursery #6
First of all, chickees, I'd like to show you the roses I'm preparing to put in my sewing/craft room. You like??? The room is in a shambles at the moment but you'll be seeing more pix of it later. It's getting its coat of PINK paint tomorrow. Squeeeeeeeeal!!

Okay okay, here's a pix of what it looked like today. It's bad, sweet cherubs, really bad!
~*~We haven't even gotten to the best part of Greenhurst Nursery yet!! Wait till you see. Ooooh, are you gonna love it. I just may go back in the next day or so to get close up pictures of their special "kitchen" section.
Looking out the front door over to some farmer's field and a house just across the street.

A close up of the little witch sitting on a chair in the foyer. It's still done in halloween theme but they're preparing for the Christmas redo to be done very shortly. Isn't she just so chic?!?! ;-) Even has her purse on - Dooney & Bourke, no doubt. ;-)

Off to the right of the foyer. It's getting a redo also so I didn't get any pictures in this room. Chains draped over the shelving, in buckets and on the windows. Scarey, chicks.

"Spooky chandelier" hanging there. Ooooooooo, scared me, chicks!! LOL Gobblies and ghosties and spiders.........ooooooooooooo

Looking to left of foyer just entering the "kiddy" room. I love what they've done with the wire cages here. These people are so creative!! Looks like snake skins wrapped around the "dead trees."

Another shot of the "kiddy room" entry to the left. Notice the witch in the bird cage hanging from the ceiling.

I love the pink feather boa! A zebra skin strung up and just visible above the boa is a pink witches hat!! Squeeeeeeealing with de-fright!! Ooooooooo...... ;-)

Instead of totally boring you with all inside shots, I've included this picture of one of the roses in their stock. I would love to have this rose bush. It just looks so gorgeous. I probably will have it before the next summer. Hubssssssss...........are you listening to me.......uuuuhhhhhh, reading this, I mean........
Remember.......we're not even 1/2 way through yet! Much more to see. You're gonna be surprised and love it! Hahahahahah......ooooooooooo.......not so scary coming up, sweet cherubs!

Greenhurst Nursery #5
There is even a "food section" and this is the real thing. No faux here, chicks. Jams and toppings and sauces.

Now we start for the confectionery section. I could use a few of those in my kitchen, couldn't you?

Cookies that carry the color theme of the season.

Eeeeek!!!! Chocolate: truffles, bonbons, gooey, chewy, creamy and delish!!!!! Yep, I passed it up today! :-( I was a woman on a mission this day and nothing would distract me! :-)

The theme colors for the season were, of course, red and white and green. They were just stocking these shelves in the stationery department and I didn't go down this aisle for not wanting to disturb them too much. But as you can see there is a lot of red in the papers and bags, little planners, boxes and photo storage.

Starting into the children's section. Kids absolutely love it in here. Just like a small zoo, playland, candyland, shop for the wee ones. Eye candy like you would NOT believe!

Uuuuuhhhhh, I chose the ones on the right side. They now grace my Reeboks!!! When I got home I switched out my boring white laces for these and people from every store I went into looked at my shoes - a different color lace in each shoe. I am one visible chickee, I tell ya, my little cherubs. Again, I've told you many times - Be Creative and Sassy! - meaning "lively, bold, full of spirit and cheeky"!! Yeaaaah.....

Redoing the Sewing/Craft Room
Since Love Bunny is out of town I decided to pack away and try to sell some of the extra fabric to get rid of it........uuuhhh, this was sorta suggested by LB so I thought it'd be a good idea. *Wink* So I did 2 boxes to go into the garage attic, 1 box to throw away and 2 big piles I've put on ebay. I cleared one entire shelving unit and at least 2 shelves on another one. When I'm down to only 2 shelving units then I'll call the painter guy to come back and paint this room pink also. Anyone interested in some vintage linen scraps or a huge pile of fabric go to my ebay here. I can't wait to see this room done up shabby chic romantic for sewing and crafting. I took down one of the tables and it'll go on the wall in the 4th picture down. So here is the before and the after will be in a couple of weeks probably.

What a mess!

What a mess!

That folded table and chair were right in front of the closet doors and I had to move it each time I wanted to get in there. It's free now. Table will go on wall to the left I think. I have a habit of changing my mind though. ;-)

That pile on the bottom left is old tablecloths I've collected. I'm going to keep a few and put the others on sale either on ebay or the selling blog. But it'll take me several days to get that done. I'm feelin' so "liberated" now!! :-) I'm on another roll, chickees!!
