I simply adore Meyer lemons (don't even know the names of any others, now that I think of it) and am trying to grow some of my own on my deck (must protect from that wintry frost here in Grass Valley, you know). So far I have a great crop growing . . . now the trick is to keep them frost-free until harvest.

I love lemonade now and again, but prefer a good pot of tea every day of the year (and sometimes twice . . . like today).

Thanks again for the cheerful comment on my blog. You gave me a sweet smile . . . I hope I have returned the favor (and will again and again). : DDebbie in CA : )https://www.blogger.com/profile/07473719745707917057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8975543655113692584.post-54923838780236442442009-08-06T20:00:58.306-06:002009-08-06T20:00:58.306-06:00Oh yum,I love lemonade.I have never seen those big...Oh yum,I love lemonade.I have never seen those big lemons before.Theresa @ Take A Sentimental Journeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04815228648134077862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8975543655113692584.post-66217367836196172852009-08-06T19:53:57.122-06:002009-08-06T19:53:57.122-06:00Hi Connie, Those Lemons are so yummy looking. I fell madly in love with it several yrs ago. Now my guy is from there and its time to move on. Ca. is just too hot, too crowded and too expensive. I dont really like it here anymore, feel like Im drying up. So we are heading for the Oregon coast where his family is. I might have to grow these lemons in a greenhouse up there, might be too cold otherwise. Ill have to see when I find a home.seanymphhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01396429978477892522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8975543655113692584.post-21972401145229524392009-08-05T15:36:07.266-06:002009-08-05T15:36:07.266-06:00I've never had fresh lemonade.
